Representatives of the Prague University of Economics and Business succeeded in the public inquiry Top Czech Women

The Czech newspaper Hospodářské noviny has announced the 17th year of the public inquiry Top Czech Women, in which successful graduates of the Prague University of Economics and Business were placed at the forefront. Not only VŠE graduates, but also VŠE Rector Hana Machková represented VŠE and was included in the selection of the 25 most influential women in the public sphere. The winners were selected by the expert jury in four categories – TOP manager, Top businesswoman, TOP woman in the public sphere and TOP women in a start-up in the year 2021.

TOP businesswoman was elected Simona Kijonková, founder of the logistic company Zásilkovna. PPF CFO Kateřina Jirásková received the highest award in the TOP manager category. Also other VŠE graduates belong to the most successful women. Petra Kutnarová, co-owner of the DEK group, finished second in the TOP businesswoman category. Radka Prokopová, executive director and co-owner of Alca plast, was awarded third place in the same category. Jaroslava Rezlerová, CEO of Manpower Group, and Diana Rádl Rogerová, Managing Partner and Strategy Director for Central Europe at Deloitte, were also present in the rankings.

The aim of the project is to promote successful women in the private as well as in the public sector. The stories of these women are supposed to inspire and draw attention to various topics, such as equal employment opportunities or women’s work in higher positions.

On behalf of the Partnership Centre VŠE, we congratulate the winners and wish them a lot of success in the future.
