The Prague University of Economics and Business and the Dům RADOST have signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation

On Friday July 21, the Rector of the Prague University of Economics and Business, Petr Dvořák, shareholder of Dům RADOST a.s., Vítězslav Vala, and the Director of Dům RADOST, Tomáš Kašpar, signed a memorandum that will enable both parties to collaborate in organizing joint cultural and social events, particularly due to the significance of both institutions within the area of Prague 3. Furthermore, this memorandum will contribute to education in the field of rental housing, and through research, studies, and lectures, it will strive to foster discussions across economic disciplines and the housing sector.

During the meeting, there was also a discussion about the possibility of collaboration in organizing events and activities for students and alumni of VŠE, where the Dům RADOST fully supports these activities and will assist in their realization. The meeting also included a tour of the premises of the Dům RADOST, where future VŠE events could take place.

The VŠE appreciates that the Dům RADOST plans to prepare accessible rental and student housing complemented by a socio-cultural centre. Regarding that, the VŠE is also conducting a qualitative and quantitative survey among students about their needs for appropriate student housing.

The signing of the memorandum was attended on behalf of the Prague University of Economics and Business by Martin Rey, Director of the Alumni and Corporate Relations, Dennis Billík, Head of the VŠE Partnership Centre, and Pavel Kolesár, Head of the VŠE Event Centre. On behalf of the Dům RADOST, Tomáš Zemina, Brand & Marketing Manager, was also present.
